Kitchen/Bathroom Refurb
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This was a property purchased by a local trust who employed All Steps to assist with a refurbishment. All Steps cooperated with the trustees to obtain their opinion and work with their choice of materials in order to complete the project and ensure it was ready for their new tenant to move in.
Ground Floor Flat Refurb
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This property had been lying vacant due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our client asked All Steps to provide a report of the required works and a projected cost for a refurbishment.
Unfortunately, following an investigation we discovered dampness under the floors due to blocked Buchan traps in the external main drain.
We then involved Scottish Water and once the drain had been cleared, the property was cleaned and sterilised, with all contaminated woodwork and plaster removed and replaced.
This unforeseen issue resulted in added time and cost to our client, however, All Steps ensured ongoing communication in order to keep the client informed of each step whilst minimising the overall cost.
Once this was resolved, we proceeded with the project and installed a new gas supply, a new gas central heating system, and carried out a complete refurbishment of the property.
Garage Build

This client expressed that they would like a small garage and had a budget they wished to work with. All Steps gathered quotations, including architect drawings and planning applications, and provided a total project cost, under their stated budget. This allowed the building of a large garage and workshop and led to a very happy client.
Wall & Drainage Build

Following our clients request, we removed an existing wall, altered hidden drainage, and subsequently re-built the wall further back using existing stone in order to give the car park a larger turning area.
Property Maintenance

The client requested a maintenance inspection, this included a report & quotation on works required.
